  • Every dollar you contribute to SPX benefits every student who enters the halls of SPX.  Donations keep tuition lower than the actual cost of a SPX education, so more families can send their children to the only Catholic high school in Albuquerque.
  • Corporations and foundations—other sources of support for the School—look to the total percentage of participation in giving before choosing which proposals to fund.
  • Your gift is tax deductible.

Why Not Raise Tuition Instead of Soliciting Gifts?

  • Implicit in the mission statement of St. Pius X High School is a dedication to diversity—cultural, demographic, economic and intellectual. The SPX Annual Fund allows all members of the St. Pius X community to support our mission at a level at which they are comfortable.
  • Higher tuition would not meet all of the on-going needs of the School.
  • Tuition is not tax deductible; your gift to the SPX is.

Can I designate where my gift goes?

    There are several designations for your gift.

  • The SPX Annual Fund - your money goes to the greatest need for maintaining the school, faculty development, and day to day operations. read more>>
  • The SPX Financial Aid Fund - your money supports deserving students to attend SPX. read more >>
  • Financial Aid Endowments - contribute to a fund established in honor or in memory of individuals who are cherished by the SPX community. Your money will fund tuition assisance and remember those individuals or you can establish an endowment in your family's name or for a special person. read more>>

How Can I Give to SPX?

  • REMEMBER: You can designate St. Pius X on your United Way pledge form.
  • Matching gifts - your gift may be matched by a gift from your employer, which can double or triple your gift to the School and count toward your contribution. Many companies match their employees’ gifts. Please contact your Human Resources Department for the proper form.
