All in, it’s not just a slogan, it’s a lifestyle.Gian Paul Gonzalez, teacher, youth center founder, NCAA All-American forward, and creator of the “All In” slogan visited St. Pius X High School on Sep. 27, 2018. He was greeted by an assembly of Sartans and students from all over the Archdiocese. The gifted motivational speaker discussed his difficulties growing up, his life on and off the court, and how his decision to turn down NBA contracts led to his work with at-risk youth, and in turn, as a world-renowned speaker.

It was Gonzalez’s work with youth that led to a surprise call from the NY Giants. Staff on the team hoped he could inspire the professionals as well as he could at-risk youth. Though filled with doubt, he attended the team meeting and spoke about the meaning of “all in.”

Promise for our Future Assembly

Gonzalez said, “We are faced with decisions every day at which time we can decide to be fully committed, or all in.” He encouraged all in the assembly to also commit, to be “all in” in all their endeavors.

If you would like to hear Gonzalez in person and help support Catholic education in The Archdiocese of Santa Fe join us and attend the 35th Annual Archbishop's School Fund Dinner, “Promise for Our Future.” We invite you to be a part of our event on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM.
