January Message from the Principal
With the start of the second semester, how do parents help students make meaningful resolutions? Resolutions can be likened to goals. Ask your students what they think they could be doing better and how they think they can get to the goal. Goals have achievable ends and they must be realistic. Examples of achievable goals include helping students organize their time, completing their chores around the house or setting up their study time in the evening. Encourage students to break their goals into smaller sub-goals. Doing so allows students to see their progress in achieving the larger goal quickly.
