January News from the Counseling Department
January News from the Counseling Department

Alumni/Senior Visit Day was held on January 6, 2016, in the SPX library during D, E, and F lunch hours. Alumni shared their college experiences with SPX seniors. These alumni are attending from in-state, out-of-state, and Catholic/private universities. This has been a very successful event for our seniors who are close to making their own college decisions. We are grateful to all the alumni who participated and always look forward to seeing our graduates!

Course Selection for the School Year 2016-2017 begins in January.
Our counselors will begin the process of assisting their 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students in choosing their classes starting in late January; this process will continue until Spring Break. Students will be briefed on course selection and the four-year plan forms and procedures. Forms must be signed by parents and returned to their counselors who will meet with each student.
