The SPX Fund is the school’s annual fund which provides unrestricted funds that sustain and advance our mission of providing for a quality Catholic education. Gifts to the SPX Fund provide for five funding initiatives: Tuition Assistance, Teaching Excellence, Athletics, Fine Arts, and Capital Improvements.
Most importanly, tuition assistance makes it possible for many students to attend St. Pius X . However, presently, our funds do not provide for all who apply for assistance. So your support is needed to help us reach our goal to aid every qualified student who wants the excellent college preparatory learning experience at St. Pius X.
Each year St. Pius X asks our alumni, parents, faculty/staff and friends to invest in our mission of educating young leaders with a gift to the SPX Fund. No matter the amount of the gift, your investment in the SPX Fund enables current students to receive an education that will last a lifetime.
For more information about the SPX Fund and how you can help, please contact the Advancement Office at (505)831-8406 or invest in the future of St. Pius online.

Teaching Excellence Awards
St. Pius X is blessed with outstanding faculty, but attracting and keeping quality educators means funding for professional development and classroom support.
A beautiful but aging campus requires many additions and improvements to enhance the learning experience.
Funding for facilities, equipment, and uniforms is critical to maintain the excellent sports program, which instills character and sportsmanship in young lives.
A key in developing the whole person, a quality Fine Arts department sets SPX apart from other schools and requires improved facilities, materials and equipment.
