Parents as Partners
Volunteer spirit alive at St. Pius X
The spirit of volunteerism helps drive the community at St. Pius X, and volunteers are instrumental in the operation of the school. The Parent Association, Athletic Boosters, Fine Arts Boosters, boards, and committees are driven by volunteer power.
Volunteers may help for many reasons, but joined together they create an SPX that is a little richer, more organized, and a whole lot better off. Parent volunteers are also instrumental in supporting the SPX Foundation Board's annual Mardi Gras Dinner Dance and Silent Auction.

The Boosters in the last several years have taken on the volunteer responsibilities for the Legacy Art Albuquerque Auction. This gala art auction held in May features works from some of the Southwest’s finest artists. Celebrities, including actor Lou Diamond Phillips, show up to support this fundraiser for St. Pius X High School and the Amado and J.B. Peña Art Has Heart Foundation.
