AP Courses

Students can select from 12 Advanced Placement classes. A 5-point grade scale is weighted to reflect the difficulty of Honors and APcourses. AP students are required to take their specific AP exam(s) in May. The final grade for an AP course at St. Pius X is based on the teacher's personally developed grading criteria for the course. AP scores are independently recorded as prospective college credit. (See the SPX mission and philosophy of AP® Courses.)
