The Spirit Week Drive coordinated by Marco Ybarra and student body officers, raised over $500 in donations towards the UNM Child Life Program. UNM’s program is the largest of its kind in New Mexico. Parents and children interact with certified child development specialists and volunteers who will:
- Ease your child's fears about treatments or procedures
- Advocate for your family's needs
- Connect you with your child’s care team
- Help your child transition back to school
- Educate the family on pain management
- Prepare your child for an MRI with special movie goggles!
