The Sartan XC Team capped off their season with the girls defending their podium stand, once again placing 3rd. The girls were led by Trista Cordova ‘23 who maintained her all-state status, placing 7th. The rest of the scorers worked in tandems, with Gracie Baca ‘22 and Maricia Marquez ‘23 in 25th and 26th, and freshmen Brooke Kelly and Leah Crabtree in 40th and 41st. Grace Aragon ‘23 placed 98th.
The boys were led by Brian Kalb ‘23 placing 37th. He was followed by Samuel Buerschen ‘23 50th, Jeffrey Peterson ‘23, Andrew Garcia ‘23, and freshmen Josh Robbins 96th, Justin Martindale 97th, and Valente Marquez 112th. The boys placed 13th, and return the entire team next year.
