2024 Fall Honors Convocation and National Honor Society Induction

St. Pius X School, students, faculty, and families gathered to celebrate the academic excellence and service achievements of the student body at the annual Fall Honors Convocation. The ceremony also featured the induction of new members into the prestigious National Honor Society (NHS).

Ava Marie Machtinger, president of the St. Pius X Chapter of NHS, opened the ceremony with a warm welcome, expressing gratitude to everyone present for supporting the students' accomplishments. "Today, we honor those students who achieved academic excellence or performed outstanding community service," she said, setting the tone for the event.

Dawn CdeBaca, another distinguished speaker, highlighted the rigorous criteria required to be part of the NHS, emphasizing the qualities of exemplary character, service, leadership, and academic excellence. She encouraged all NHS members to live up to these ideals.
