St. Pius X Students Shine at La Distribution des Prix 2025

Last night, St. Pius X School once again made its mark at the annual La Distribution des Prix 2025, an academic recognition ceremony hosted by the Alliance Française d'Albuquerque. This prestigious event celebrates the best and brightest French students from across the city, and for the third consecutive year, St. Pius X students were among the honorees — continuing a proud tradition of excellence in world language studies.

This year’s recognized students span every level of the French program at St. Pius X:

  • French I: Takira Konico

  • French II: Eliana Saiz

  • French II Honors: Madelyn Garcia and Sierra Sanchez

  • French III Honors: Camille Dingreville

  • AP French: Erica Martinez

The evening’s highlight came during the presentation of Le Prix du Président, the top individual award given each year to the most outstanding French student in Albuquerque. Teachers from across the city nominate one exceptional student from their French IV, V, or AP classes. For the third year in a row, a St. Pius X student earned this highest distinction — Erica Martinez was named the 2025 recipient of Le Prix du Président.
