Congratulations to SPX Senior Jessica Castro on winning the Grand Prize Award at the National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair (NAISEF), held at Oklahoma State University. Jessica is now a Regeneron Finalist in the International Science and Engineering Fair, marking her second year representing both NAISEF and St. Pius X at the international level. She will compete in Columbus, Ohio, from May 10–16, 2025.
In addition to the Grand Prize, Jessica also earned First Place in Energy, Sustainable Materials and Design, along with a scholarship to the Oklahoma State University College of Engineering.
We also congratulate SPX 7th Grader Vanessa Castro for winning First Place in the Junior Division, Energy, Sustainable Materials and Design at NAISEF.
Well done to both of these outstanding students for their achievements.
