What should I put on my brick? How many characters can I include?

You are welcome to customize your engraving with any keyboard characters you like, and the special character of a heart is also available. The engraving will be in black uppercase letters. Each brick fits three lines with 14 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation. To save space and for consistency, we will use “&” rather than “and.” Personalized messages are welcomed, but all brick inscriptions are subject to approval.

If your message does not fit on three lines of 14 characters, please contact us at [email protected]. We can help you abbreviate or discuss purchasing multiple bricks.

Can I use my company’s matching program to purchase a brick?

Yes! Company matching may be used to purchase bricks. Please check with your company to ensure this gift is eligible for corporate matching and for specific guidelines. If you intend to utilize a matching gift to purchase a brick, more time may be needed to complete your transaction.

The tax-deductible portion of a $250 brick is $200. All brick sales are used to support the construction of the Alumni Plaza.
